What it means
The CNC monitors its internal temperature every minute; three consecutive samples above 60 C raise this warning and activate the OVERTEMP PLC mark. Sustained overtemperature shortens component life and risks sudden shutdowns. The alarm text displays the current measured temperature.
Likely causes
- blocked fan or failed cooling in the central unit
- excessive ambient temperature or poor enclosure ventilation
- enclosure clearances below Fagor recommendation around the unit
Triage note: Add enclosure fans or air conditioning if ambient exceeds spec; do not ignore - error 0173 will eventually inhibit START.
