Fagor alarm 0170: Low battery voltage

What it means
The 8060/8065 measures the backup battery at every power-up and reset and warns that it is discharged, i.e. at the end of its service life. While the CNC is turned off the battery keeps essential data such as reference positions, so replacement is urgent to avoid losing them.
Likely causes
- battery past its 2-3 year typical service life
- battery lead left unplugged after board-level service
- cell damaged by heat in an overheated cabinet
Triage note: Change the cell with the CNC powered ON so memory stays live; have a parameter backup ready regardless.
