Fagor alarm 094: Parity error in tool table or zero offset table G53-G59
Fagor legacy CNC error (8025/8040/8020) · Fagor legacy
What it means
At power-up the 8025/8030 verifies parity of its battery-backed CMOS areas; the tool-offset and G53-G59 zero-offset block failed, indicating those contents were corrupted (classic dead-battery symptom). As part of recovery the CNC force-resets the RS232 serial parameters to defaults (P0=9600, P1=8, P2=0, P3=1, P605(5)=P605(6)=P605(7)=1).
Likely causes
- backup battery below retention voltage (~2.7-3.0 V region)
- power interruption during a table write
- aging CMOS RAM losing bits
Triage note: Companion parity alarms 082, 095-099 hit the other areas (4th-axis, general parameters, Z, 3rd/C axis, X axis, M table). If several appear at once, treat the battery as dead and expect to reload all tables.
