What it means
Tool-life management detected that the requested tool exceeded its nominal life, and the automatic replacement search found no other tool of the same family in the magazine. The CNC stops instead of machining with a worn tool.
Likely causes
- tool life counter exhausted (real life > nominal life)
- only one tool assigned to that family in the tool table
- replacement tool itself also flagged as worn
Triage note: Fix by regrinding/replacing the insert set and resetting life data, or adding a same-family sister tool.
