Fagor alarm 1084: Arc programmed wrong
CNC 8055 CNC error · Fagor 8055/8055i
What it means
An arc definition is geometrically inconsistent: the IJK-plus-endpoint combination does not intersect, a three-point arc (G09) uses collinear or duplicate points, a tangential entry targets a path outside the active plane, or a tangential exit is followed by a path lying on the extension of the previous one. The CNC aborts block preparation.
Likely causes
- end-point coordinates or I/J/K signs mistyped
- three-point arc with duplicated or collinear points
- plane (G16-G19) changed so the tangency no longer applies
- variables producing degenerate geometry at runtime
Triage note: If the error points at a G66/G68/G69 call block, inspect the profile definition blocks themselves.
