Fagor alarm 1100: Travel limits of spindle 1 exceeded

What it means
Motion tried to push the spindle past its physical travel limits, causing the PLC to raise the LIMIT+S / LIMIT-S mark (LIMIT+S2 / LIMIT-S2 logic governs the second spindle). Behavior: axis and spindle movement stop, enables are dropped and analog outputs canceled; if detected from the position loop the loop opens (LOPEN=1) and the channel's program is aborted.
Likely causes
- crash or setup pushing the spindle carriage into an overtravel switch
- PLC limit inputs miswired or bouncing
- zero-offset/reference error placing coordinates beyond physical limits
Triage note: Error 1106 reports the identical condition for spindle 2. Clear by jogging out of the limit strip.
