Fagor alarm 120: Checksum error recovering machine parameters from EEPROM

What it means

While restoring the locked machine parameters, decoded-M table and leadscrew compensation tables from EEPROM, the checksum did not match, so the recovered data cannot be trusted. The companion error 119 covers the failure to WRITE these areas; 120 covers a bad READ-BACK.

Likely causes

• EEPROM cells worn after decades of rewrite cycles
• interrupted save (error 119) leaving a partially written image
• internal hardware fault in the EEPROM path
