Fagor alarm 1200-1208: Travel limits of the * axis exceeded

What it means
The axis ran into a physical travel limit and the PLC raised the LIMIT+1/LIMIT-1 mark for that axis. The CNC stops axis and spindle motion and removes enables/analog outputs; position-loop detection opens the loop and sets LOPEN=1, aborting the program.
Likely causes
- overtravel into a hard-limit switch (crash, wrong jog direction)
- dirty or misaligned limit switch triggering falsely
- referencing error making the CNC believe it is past the physical stop
Triage note: Nine-code axis-mapped range (1200 = first axis); recover by jogging off the switch, then re-reference.
