Fagor alarm 1249: Variable pitch thread programmed wrong
CNC 8055 CNC error · Fagor 8055/8055i
What it means
A variable-pitch threading definition violated one of the admissible conditions: a positive K increment equal to or greater than twice the pitch L, a computed pitch exceeding the MAXFEED of a threading axis, or a negative K driving some pitch to zero or below. The CNC rejects the thread before motion starts.
Likely causes
- K increment chosen too aggressive relative to base pitch L
- computed pitch surpassing the axis MAXFEED limit
- negative K value collapsing intermediate pitches to <= 0
Triage note: Related limits: 1250 caps the initial-to-final pitch ratio at 32767 for G34.
