What it means
A #SELECT PROBE instruction or a probing movement (G100) was attempted on the 8060/8065 while no digital input is mapped to the selected probe via parameter PRBDI1 or PRBDI2. The CNC refuses to start a measurement it could never register.
Likely causes
- probe input parameter never set (fresh rebuild or parameter restore)
- parameters lost after battery/memory incident
- input number typed for the wrong probe index
