Fagor alarm 2011: Maximum temperature exceeded

What it means
The internal temperature sensor of the CNC reports that the allowed limit has been exceeded. The CNC stops axes and spindle and cancels the analog outputs to protect the electronics. Persistent recurrence points to a failing component on the axis board rather than ambient conditions.
Likely causes
- electrical cabinet poorly ventilated or cooling fan failed
- cabinet air filter clogged
- CNC mounted next to a heat source (drive heatsink, transformer)
- defective component on the CNC axis board self-heating
Triage note: Power down, let the unit cool and restore airflow first. If the alarm returns on a cold start, plan a board exchange through Fagor service.
