Fagor alarm 2025: Probe feedback error

What it means
The CNC expects a valid probe signal path and finds none - the measuring probe is not connected or its cabling is wired incorrectly. Probing cycles are impossible and motion is stopped with the external emergency output raised. Documented in the ·M· model edition of the 8055 error manual.
Likely causes
- probe cable unplugged at the table or spindle connector
- broken probe stylus or internal probe fault
- miswired probe interface (signal/repeat contacts swapped)
- damaged probe input on the CNC or probe interface board
Triage note: Verify the probe signal with a multimeter at the CNC input (optocoupler input) before condemning the probe head.
