What it means
Identical condition to alarm 2010 but reported for the second spindle on two-spindle machines: the monitored feedback input sees no valid signal. Enables are dropped, analog outputs cancelled and the external emergency output activated.
Likely causes
- spindle-2 encoder failed or unplugged
- open feedback cable or broken connector pins
- encoder disc contaminated or coupling slipped
- shorted sensor supply damaging the input stage
