What it means
Over-current detected on the CNC feedback input: short circuit in feedback wiring or overheated feedback device.
Likely causes
- crushed/pinched feedback cable shorting +5 V to 0 V
- water/coolant ingress in scale connector
- reader head electronics partially shorted
Triage note: Disconnect the scale head and re-power: if the alarm clears, the short is downstream (cable/head); if it persists, the CNC input stage is damaged.
