What it means
The control electronics report loss of the 24 V auxiliary supply: on a modular CNC 8055 at the CPU module of the CNC, on a CNC 8055i at connector X2 of the CNC. Without this supply the enable/interface stages are dead, so axes and spindle stop and the external emergency output trips. A blown inline fuse is the most common finding.
Likely causes
- blown 24 V fuse for the CPU-CNC module (or X2 feed on 8055i)
- cabinet 24 V power supply failed or overloaded
- loose/corroded 24 V terminal or crimp
- wiring short downstream tripping the supply
Triage note: Measure directly at the module/X2 connector; restore the feed and replace the fuse only after ruling out a short.
