Fagor alarm 3700: Axis travel limit overrun (PLC)

What it means

The PLC maneuver attempted to drive an axis past its configured travel limits while the axis was moving. The CNC interrupts the motion because the commanded target falls outside LIMIT+/LIMIT- (or the limits set through V.A.RTPOSLIMIT.xn). It is the PLC-side counterpart of errors 3703/3704, which trigger on part-program moves.

Likely causes

• PLC logic commanding a target beyond the software travel limits
• software limits changed by part-program or PLC without updating the maneuver
• lost reference making the actual position appear outside the limits
