Fagor alarm 3732: Error in refreshing local counts

What it means

The position loop detected an alarm on one of the local (onboard) count inputs while reading local feedback. The affected input cannot deliver usable pulses, so the corresponding axis feedback is considered invalid for the loop.

Likely causes

• short circuit or overload at the local feedback input
• broken signal wire between encoder/scale and the local input
• signal level out of specification (TTL 5 V differential)
• local counter input stage damaged
