What it means
When the operator changes electronic-handwheel resolution on the 8060/8065, the selected multiplier position resolves to zero in axis parameter MPGRESOL, so pulses per division are undefined and the selection is rejected.
Likely causes
- MPGRESOL value missing/zero for one switch position
- PLC writing an invalid resolution index into the handwheel variables
- handwheel multiplexer switch contact reading the wrong position
