What it means
Generic wrapper for drive standard errors E201-E203: motor I2t overload (201), drive I2t overload (202) and torque overload with stalled rotor (203). The CNC stops motion, cancels enables and aborts all channels. E202/E203 cut PWM immediately (category 0), while E201 ramps down along the controlled-stop ramp (category 1).
Likely causes
- Duty cycle heavier than the motor or drive rating
- Mechanical binding or a locked spindle/axis
- Swapped or loose motor power phases
- Defective feedback cable giving wrong commutation
