Fagor alarm 4004: Overtemperature at the motor (108)

What it means
Drive standard error E108: the motor thermal contact (PTC/thermistor in the feedback cable) reports excessive winding temperature. The CNC removes enables and interrupts the program with a category 1 stop. Allow the motor to cool for several minutes and lighten the duty cycle.
Likely causes
- High current peaks demanded by the cycle
- Defective temperature sensor in the motor
- Damaged position-sensor cable carrying the thermal contact
- Insufficient motor cooling (forced fan missing/faulty)
