Fagor alarm 4005: Overtemperature at the heatsink (106)

What it means
Drive standard error E106: the IGBT heatsink has reached its per-drive trip temperature, so the drive performs a torqueless stop. The CNC simultaneously drops enables, aborts the program on all channels and activates the external emergency output. Stop the system several minutes, verify airflow, and reduce the effort demanded from the drive.
Likely causes
- Failed heatsink fan or clogged heatsink fins
- Sustained load above the drive's continuous rating
- Ambient temperature too high or drive mounted without clearance
Triage note: A warning is issued 5 °C below trip level; monitoring % load (KV10 CoolingTemperature) helps prevent repeats.
