What it means
The DDS drive reported a motor-feedback error (E600-E606 class): communication loss with rotor encoder or saturated/distorted A/B sinusoidal signals.
Likely causes
- motor feedback cable (EEC-SP / IECD) broken, shielded poorly, or pin contact worn
- sinusoidal encoder in FXM/FKM motor failing (signal level collapse)
- drive X4 motor-feedback (CAPMOTOR) board defective
Triage note: Wiggle-test the feedback cable at the motor connector while watching PV188/PV189 in WinDDSSetup - intermittent level jumps locate a fractured cable before replacing the encoder.
