What it means
The ring did not complete its initialization within the expected time, so the CNC aborted the startup of the Sercos bus. The timeout indicates the phase-change handshake with the slaves never finished successfully.

- broken or dirty optical fiber anywhere in the ring
- a drive powered down or hanging mid-initialization
- wrong SERBRATE / node addressing preventing phase transitions
