Fagor alarm 4060: ERROR 104: Internal +18 V out of range

What it means
The +18 V rail, which feeds the IGBT gate drivers among others, is out of range. The error is not clearable by reset and forces a power cycle of the drive system; the CNC holds all axes stopped.
Likely causes
- IGBT driver stage drawing excessive current
- Internal switched-mode supply failure
- Ripple or collapse of the rail under load
