Fagor alarm 4064: ERROR 108: Motor overheated

What it means
The motor's thermal sensor signals excessive winding temperature. The drive stops with a category 1 ramp while the CNC cancels enables, opens the position loop if needed and aborts all channels. Cool the motor for several minutes and reduce the mechanical demand.
Likely causes
- Current peaks/duty beyond the motor's capability
- Defective temperature sensor or damaged sensor wires in the feedback cable
- Missing or failed forced ventilation on the motor
- Higher friction/load than the application design
