Fagor alarm 4065: ERROR 200: Overspeed

What it means

Actual motor speed exceeded SP10 by more than 12%. PWM is cut immediately (category 0 stop) so the motor coasts; the CNC simultaneously drops enables, interrupts the program on all channels and fires the external emergency output. Check feedback integrity and velocity-loop tuning.

Likely causes

• Position-sensor cable damage causing wrong speed feedback
• Motor power phase wiring faults
• Velocity loop poorly adjusted / overshoot on deceleration
• Command spikes from the upper-level controller
