Fagor alarm 4069: ERROR 212: Over-current

What it means
Instantaneous current through the drive module exceeded the hardware limit (about 1.6 x IGbT peak). PWM switches off immediately (category 0 stop) and the CNC executes its full emergency sequence across all channels. Reset once; if it repeats, suspect hardware or gross tuning errors causing current overshoot.
Likely causes
- Phase-to-phase or phase-to-ground short in motor cable/motor
- Failed IGBT in the drive output stage
- Badly tuned current/speed loop causing overshoot
- Wrong motor data or phase order after service
