Fagor alarm 4071: ERROR 214: Short-circuit

What it means
The drive detected a short-circuit condition at its power output (desaturation/overcurrent signature typical of a bridge shoot-through or load short). PWM is interrupted instantly (category 0 stop) with the CNC dropping enables and aborting every channel. After a safe reset check the motor and its cabling before re-enabling.
Likely causes
- Motor cable phases shorted or incorrectly phased
- Insulation failure in the motor windings
- Crossed/damaged power wiring after maintenance
- Destroyed inverter IGBT
