Fagor alarm 4072: ERROR 215: Over-voltage at the power bus (Hard)

What it means
The drive hardware detected DC bus voltage above the absolute limit, typically because regenerated energy cannot be dissipated. PWM is cut immediately (category 0 stop) and the CNC aborts all channels. Check the ballast/regeneration chain first - most causes are external to the amplifier electronics.
Likely causes
- Missing connection bridge across the internal ballast terminals
- External regen resistor disconnected, open or burned out
- Loose bus-bar connections
- Very fast decelerations dumping energy faster than the ballast can absorb
