Fagor alarm 4075: ERROR 302: Short-circuit at the ballast circuit of the power supply module

What it means
A short-circuit was detected in the ballast (braking chopper) circuit of the supply module. Motor current is interrupted (category 0 stop) and the CNC cancels all enables and programs. Fagor specifies contacting service - the ballast transistor/resistor path needs replacement or a new supply module.
Likely causes
- Failed ballast IGBT/chopper
- Shorted ballast resistor
- Internal wiring fault in the PSU regen stage
