Fagor alarm 4076: ERROR 303: Ballast circuit supply voltage out of range

What it means

The supply voltage feeding the ballast-circuit driver is outside its permitted window, so the braking chopper cannot be guaranteed to switch correctly. PWM is cut (category 0 stop) with the usual CNC-wide shutdown. Contact service; the supply module's driver supply is at fault.

Likely causes

• Defective ballast gate-driver supply inside the PSU
• Internal low-voltage supply degradation
• Component failure in the PSU control electronics
