What it means
The drive's identification read-back of the VeCon (control) board returned an unexpected ID, meaning the control electronics do not match the configured hardware. PWM is deactivated (category 0 stop) and the error is non-resettable - power cycle after inspection; replacement of board or drive is normally needed.
Likely causes
- Control board replaced with an incompatible version
- ID EEPROM/read circuit fault on the VeCon board
- Seating/connector problem between boards
