Fagor alarm 4143: ERROR 314: I2t protection of the crowbar resistor

What it means
The I2t thermal image of the crowbar (ballast) resistor tripped, meaning braking energy has heated the resistor beyond its duty rating. PWM is cut (category 0 stop) and the CNC aborts all channels. Space out decelerations, reduce dumped energy, or fit a larger resistor.
Likely causes
- Frequent or long regenerative braking events
- Crowbar resistor undersized for vertical/high-inertia axes
- Failed fan/cooling around the resistor bank
- Resistor drift in resistance value with age
