What it means
In a compact (self-contained) drive, the soft-start charge of the DC bus exceeded the 4-second supervision window, so precharge is considered failed. PWM is cut (category 0 stop) and the CNC stays shut down. This error cannot be disabled; check the crowbar/soft-start components before replacing the drive.
Likely causes
- Crowbar (internal or external) badly connected or open
- Defective internal SoftStart/crowbar resistor
- Blown internal current-limiting fuse of the soft-start stage
- Weak mains supply prolonging charge time
