Fagor alarm 4213: SERCOS counter error (RCS-S remote counter)

What it means
On 8060/8065 the RCS-S remote Sercos counter node reports a fault; NODE gives the Sercos ID and CODE mirrors the display code listed in the RCS-S module section of the error manual (E03x board identification/checksum tests, E08x FPGA/watchdog faults, E13x-E14x feedback wire-break, amplitude and over-current codes). The CNC raises the alarm because axis feedback through that counter is no longer trustworthy.
Likely causes
- feedback cable break (A/B/I0/AL differential TTL signals per the E-code)
- encoder generating its own alarm signal or saturated amplitudes
- RCS-S module hardware fault (CPU/Sercos board/FPGA)
Triage note: Decode the E-code first: E133/E233/E333-class codes mean wiring or the encoder, E034-E047-class codes mean the module itself.
