What it means
At 8060/8065 startup the pulse-counter channel reserved for an electronic handwheel does not exist in the hardware as configured; the error window names the affected counter. Jogging via that handwheel is impossible until configuration matches hardware.
Likely causes
- Jog-table/machine-parameter handwheel assignment pointing at a nonexistent counter
- handwheel interface module absent or failed
- handwheel cable disconnected making the channel undetectable
Triage note: Swap handwheel connections first: if the error follows the wheel to another port, the wheel is at fault; if it stays, it is the counter/config.
