What it means
Same failure pattern as 6044 but isolated to the B (/B) differential pair of the local feedback. Direction discrimination is lost without B, so the loop alarms immediately.

- B or /B conductor open in the feedback cable
- reading-head B-channel failure
- terminal block contact loss
