Fagor alarm 6050: Short-circuit at the local I/O (over-current alarm)

What it means

The current-limited local I/O driver detected an over-current, meaning something wired to the local outputs is shorted or overloaded. The protection latches until the fault clears. Disconnect loads one by one to isolate the shorted solenoid, lamp or harness.

Likely causes

• shorted solenoid valve or indicator lamp on a local output
• chafed wire to ground in output harness
• moisture ingress in connector blocks
