Fagor alarm E100: Internal +5 V out of range

What it means
One of the drive's internally generated control voltages has left its tolerance band; E100 monitors the +5 V rail while sibling codes cover -5 V (E101), +8 V/-8 V (E102/E103) and +18 V/-18 V (E104/E105). These rails feed the logic and feedback interfaces, so an out-of-range value stops the drive. Persistent trips indicate a failing internal switch-mode supply section on the control boards.
Likely causes
- aging electrolytic capacitors in the internal auxiliary supply
- control board defect loading one rail down
- auxiliary 24 V feed from PS-25B4/APS-24 marginal or overloaded
