Fagor alarm E159: Wrong counting direction during GC3 phase-order test (phases swapped)

What it means

The drive's GC3 command checks that power phases and feedback phasing agree, and it raised this error because commutation ran against the expected direction. On a spindle this appears after motor or cable replacement, or after someone re-terminated the motor power leads. The error is resettable once wiring is corrected.

Likely causes

• two motor power phases swapped at U/V/W terminal block
• rotor feedback connector re-pinned incorrectly after cable repair
• wrong motor table (.mot) loaded for the connected FM7/FM9 spindle motor
