Fagor alarm E200: Overspeed (actual speed > 112% of SP10 maximum)
DDS drive display code (AXD/SPD/ACD/SCD seven-segment) · Fagor DDS drives
What it means
The rotor feedback reports a speed exceeding the configured maximum SP10 by more than 12%. A free-spinning or back-driven spindle can overshoot easily because of its stored kinetic energy. The manual points first at feedback cabling and velocity-loop tuning (overshoot).
Likely causes
- motor feedback cable damaged or picking up noise (speed derived from A/B pulses)
- velocity loop badly tuned, overshooting on command steps
- spindle run above its designed top speed via wrong gear-stage scaling
- decoupled/loose encoder wheel giving false pulse rate
