Fagor alarm E206: Velocity command exceeds SP10 maximum command

DDS drive display code (AXD/SPD/ACD/SCD seven-segment) · Fagor DDS drives

What it means

In velocity loop (the normal mode for an SPD spindle), the analog/Sercos speed command from the CNC translated above the drive's SP10 ceiling. Usually a scaling mismatch between CNC spindle parameters and drive SP10, or a gear-range factor applied twice.

Likely causes

  • CNC max spindle speed vs drive SP10 inconsistent after gear change
  • analog command gain/wiring pushing reference beyond scale
  • SP10 edited without updating the CNC side (P0 MAXSPEED / gear tables)

Triage note: Purely a configuration clash - no hardware to replace until scaling is proven correct.
