Fagor alarm E253: I0 not found in two revolutions

What it means
During homing, the reference mark of the rotary/direct feedback was not seen within two encoder turns.
Likely causes
- encoder-to-spindle coupling slipping (grub screw backed out)
- I0 channel conductor broken in feedback cable
- encoder disk/mark LED degraded
- homing speed/window parameters (NP166) wrong
Triage note: Scope I0 while bar-turning the shaft by hand: pulse present = parameters; absent = cable then encoder. Always re-torque coupling setscrews with threadlocker after any encoder R&R.
