Fagor alarm E302: Short-circuit in the ballast of the power supply module

What it means
A short was detected across the power supply's ballast branch - the drive latches this and refers you to Fagor service. Wiring damage (nickened insulation to chassis), a failed resistor body or a blown sensing element can present like this. Do not keep resetting into a shorted branch.

- ballast resistor internal failure (shorted element)
- chaffed ballast wiring shorted to enclosure
- ballast control/detection board failure
