What it means
The I²t protection of the Crowbar resistor opened, meaning the precharge/dissipation resistor absorbed more energy than allowed. This sits alongside soft-start failures (E315/E316) in the charging chain of the DC bus. Check the resistor element and its connections; a cooked crowbar resistor usually smells the part.

- crowbar/soft-start resistor degraded or open after repeated hard charges
- shorted bus load forcing long charge currents
- frequent power cycling of the whole system
