Fagor alarm E605: Feedback alarm: signals A/B of motor feedback too damped

What it means
The amplitude of the A and/or B incremental channels from the motor feedback fell below acceptance limits (RP1-RP4 windows), meaning the drive no longer trusts position/speed information. The cables, feedback device or X4 motor-feedback board may be defective; four consecutive bad signal cycles trip it (see RV59).
Likely causes
- motor feedback cable strained, crushed or with water at connectors
- encoder disk contaminated or LED degradation in rotary feedback
- resolver excitation/sinewave level out of spec
- X4 receiver circuit on drive failing
- RP1-RP4 thresholds set unrealistically tight
