Fagor alarm E609: Damaged temperature cable

What it means
The drive judges the motor temperature-sensor conductors (carried in the feedback cable) to be damaged — open circuit or implausible resistance. Since the same conductors carry KTY/PTO sensor data used for E108-style thermal protection, the drive refuses to run unprotected. Inspect the sensor pair continuity through every connector.

- broken temperature conductors in flexing section of feedback cable
- temperature sensor open in motor winding (KTY/PTO failure)
- connector pins pushed back or corroded
- aftermarket cable lacking the sensor pairs
