What it means
Absolute-position telegram from a Fagor absolute scale (LA/SA/GA family) is incoherent or fails CRC - data integrity broken between head and drive.
Likely causes
- RP64 CRC flag mismatches the connected scale (CRC vs non-CRC model)
- NP117/NP118 scaling parameters wrong after head swap
- feedback cable damaged / connector contamination
- absolute head electronics failing
Triage note: Parameter-first alarm: after ANY head or drive replacement, verify RP64 against the scale's CRC option before ordering hardware. Persistent CRC faults with verified parameters = head or cable.
