What it means
PSM-5.5i to PSM-15i: main-circuit power module (IPM) detected an abnormal condition. PSM-15i to PSM-37i: overcurrent flowed into the input of the main circuit.
Likely causes
- IPM/IGBT failure in converter input bridge
- Control supply voltage decrease of the power module (IPM)
- Input supply voltage imbalance
- AC reactor specification mismatched to the PSM in use
Triage note: B-65285EN 3.1.1: check supply balance and AC reactor spec BEFORE replacing; if IPM defective replace the PSM. Mirrors as SPM display 30 / SP0030.
