What it means
Hardware limit switch tripped (OT0507 = negative) - physical overrun past machine stroke
Likely causes
- switch physically actuated by crash/jog overrun
- failed/stuck limit switch (coolant corrosion)
- broken switch wiring reading open
Triage note: Use limit release + slow jog off the switch; if tripped with axis mid-stroke, test the switch continuity - corroded dog-switches are the usual hardware fault
